Principal’s Message

Nga mihi nui ki a koutou, Nau mai haere mai

Greetings and a very warm welcome to our school.

Our award winning school continues a proud tradition of innovation in education. We have a talented and diverse team of teachers, support staff and volunteer parents committed to creating a safe and exciting learning environment for our tamariki. A strong commitment to smaller class sizes and extra support and learning programmes are all geared to enhancing your child’s learning.

We are extremely proud of the partnership Thames South has built within our community over the years. This has resulted in a unique curriculum that celebrates our cultures of Aoteoroa.

Our 4 C,s – caring for self, others, environment and property underpin our school life and we have a robust behaviour plan in place. This is based on restorative practices, the certainty of consequences and zero tolerance to bullying.

I invite you to take a look at our website which gives you a snapshot of our school. If you want to find out more, please contact the office to make a time to come and experience our learning environments up close. We have an open door policy and welcome you and your whanau to this place of belonging anytime
